The Exeter assay office was a hallmarking office that operated from 1701 to 1883. This set of five spoons (with one later replacement - Sheffield 1903) were made in Exeter by Simon Levy. They have a nice family crest of a eagle issuing, wings expanded. Lightly made as is often found in provincial silver, they are in good used condition, there is some slight bowl wear.
Each hallmarked.
They weigh a combined 125 grams.
