We can't quite decide what this sweet little ladle is for...it is a bit big for a salt spoon, but too small for a cream ladle...whatever it is, it is nice! The 'Grecian' pattern was first exhibited by George Adams in the mid-nineteenth century at the Great Exhibition and is listed in the Chawner & Co pattern book. This piece is in good overall condition.
Small but clear hallmarks, however the maker's mark is rubbed. It was made in London in 1854.
It measures 11cm long and weighs 25grams.
