Bright-cut decoration was designed to flicker in the candlelight and comes in a variety of designs. Provincial silver has its own styles and this is a nice example made in Exeter by Jospeh Hicks around 1800. It has a nice inscription for 1803. In good overall condition.
Hallmarked - the date letter is rubbed.
It measures 22cm long and weighs 64 grams.
