A rare example of Limerick silver. They were made by William Fitzgerald in Limerick, probably dating around 1820. These sugar tongs have a nice crest on it.
Clearly marked for William Fitzgerald - 'WFG' on one arm, 'STERLING' on the other.
They measure approximately 16.5 cm long.
