A well made antique sterling silver soup ladle in the Old English pattern. It has a shell bowl that is in great condition. It was made by John Langlands I in Newcastle in 1774. It is initialled to the back and has a Cross crest on the front.
It measures approximately 32 cm long and weighs 149 grams.
