A sterling silver large size matchbox case, this was made by the well known firm William Comyns & Sons in London in 1903. Heavily decorated on the top with three faces and a dolphin. In good overall condition, it is slightly bent out of shape.
Hallmarked (as well as a stamp for Hardy Bros, Sydney).
It measures 7.5 by 5cm and weighs 52 grams.
