A nice set of sterling silver tongs, they have a nice flared rim design and were made by Thomas Northcote in London. They are hallmarked in each bowl and have the incuse duty mark. The incuse mark is quite a rarity as it was only used between 1st December 1784 and 29th May, 1786. The tongs are in good condition with a period monogram 'SH'.
Clearly hallmarked.
They measure just over 13cm long and weigh 28 grams.
