Popular as prizes in Victoria, these sterling silver cups were often awarded for regatta races in the early twentieth century. For similar examples refer to JB Hawkins Vol I pp 284. This one is marked with just "Stg Silver", but was probably made by Bradshaw who provided many of the cups.
This one was awarded to R. Scott at the Melbourne Amateur Regatta in 1931.
This cup measures 12cm high and weighs approximately 222 grams.
