A lovely Georgian tray, in a navette shape with bright-cut decoration. It was made by the well known Bateman family, in this case the partnership of Peter, Ann and William Bateman. It has a nice period crest of a ram's head. In good overall condition, there are a few scratches from use over the years.
Good clear hallmarks.
It measures 24cm long and weighs 318 grams.
