Benjamin Petersen did his apprenticeship in Adelaide with JM Wendt before moving to Christchurch in 1863. This sterling silver buckle sates to the second period of the business, B.Petersen & Co which worked from 1872-1912. A great monogram buckle 'WA' we think. It is in good condition.
Marked but both marks slightly in complete.
It measures 6cm high and weighs 25 grams.
