A nice ladle is in great condition with no splits, dents or repairs. It is quite heavy. It has pseudo hallmarks for Sydney silversmith John McLean. He was working around 1860.
It is fiddle pattern with an interesting crest of a knight to the terminal. I would think it is a fantasy crest made up rather than an official once.
It weighs 53 grams and measures 15 cm long.
