A Scottish sterling basting (or serving) spoon, this example is in the Old English pattern and was made by WC (possibly William Constable) in Edinburgh in 1829. It has a nice period monogram 'D' and is very good condition.
Clearly hallmarked.
It measures 30cm long and weighs 120 grams.
